WIP

We are having an Arts & Crafts Fair on May 1st as part of the Eastbourne Festival.

In honour of the occasion, I've decided to have a maypole on my table with some little dancers. So I've made a start:



I want them to stand up, so I've stitched a covered card sole to the foot. With the boots, also with a thicker card sole, I think they should be fairly stable. The plan is to dress them in peasant style costumes in green and white.

A new bird:

This one has a slightly different body shape and a three-pointed tail. It is made from left-over scraps of quilted fabric.

International Womens' Day March 8th

March 8th is International Womens' Day. There's a Post a Photo challenge on Stitchin' Fingers to show something made in the suffragette colours of purple (for dignity), white (for purity) and green (for hope).
